We also ordered several bowls of rice on the side. I thought the clams, the crab and the shrimp was good. The shrimp was slightly over cooked. Nonetheless it was still really good! ”

“ I wasn't sure what to expect when my parents asked us to meet them for dinner here. Although, I've always wanted to try it, I thought it was Asian and never knew that it was Cajun. The dining room was spacious and the tables were lined with paper. We were each given bins and plastic gloves. Thank goodness because it got messy! We ordered C4 to share, which I recommend if you have at least 4 people. I was pleasantly surprised by the buttery tastiness. We chose mild Cajun flavor which was perfect for my taste. I liked the clams, shrimp, sausage, potatoes and corn. I was too lazy to crack the crab and the crawfish had too little meat for too much work. We also ordered chicken tenders with sweet potato fries, grilled calamari, beef short ribs with fries and a salad with fried fish. The fries were thin and crunchy and the salad was yummy. We almost ate everything! The mess is not my thing so unless someone really wanted to come here, I'm not sure I'd choose to come back again. However, i did enjoy the food! The staff was really nice too. ”

“ Shaking Crab is one of my favorite restaurants ever! The shrimp is good quality and they actually put enough sauce in the bag for you to enjoy it with every piece you eat. (I've been to some places that don't put enough sauce.) The fried calamari is amazing too because it's crispy and the fries are thin with the perfect amount of seasoning too. Our server was sweet and checked on us the perfect amount of times. Anytime I'm near the city and craving some spicy shrimp, I'll continue going back! ”

“ Yooo Atomic Explosion (the spiciest option) shrimp head on, cajun fries, (sometimes) rice, and either a corona or coke. That is all. Sometimes, I like to mix it up and get something new to try with my basic order. Service is friendly. I always ask for a spoon to scoop the sauce onto my fries or rice. I forever miss their happy hour deals that would go for $20 1/2 lb two choices. Great dining option at Westlake. Restaurant itself has dim-lighting and can be a bit noisy at times since so many people dine here. ”
